KATY, TX (December 7, 2015) – Coventry Homes has opened the doors to two new model homes in the Katy master-planned community of Cane Island where the Texas homebuilder is adding two- and three-bedroom lifestyle patio homes on 55- and 65-foot properties and four- and five-bedroom homes on 70-foot homesites.

Ideal for active empty nesters and first-time homebuyers, Coventry’s two-and three-bedroom lifestyle garden homes feature gourmet island kitchens, inviting master suites, spacious secondary bedrooms, formal dining, studies, covered patios, three-car garages and mudrooms.   Plus, homebuyers can choose options such as a stone-and-wrought iron wine room, media room, and extra bedrooms.

Coventry’s 55-foot plans, from 2,265 to 2,689 square feet, are priced from the $360s.  Its 65-foot plans, from 2,746 – 3,600 square feet, are priced from the $440s while its 70-foot plans, from 3,190 – 4, 634 square feet, start in the $460s.

Coventry’s two new Cane Island model homes, both expertly furnished and professionally decorated, are open daily, Monday – Saturday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon – 6 p.m.  A third Coventry Homes’ model for Cane Island’s 70-foot properties is expected to open in December.

As new model homes in Cane Island open, progress continues on the community’s Amenity Village featuring a Welcome Center, recreation center, fitness center, family pool, poolside cafe, glass-walled conservatory and yoga studio.  The community’s inspiring arrival experience, complete with Cane Island’s Living Arches and signature water features spanning its three-acre lake, are now complete.

Later this year, Cane Island will be accessible via an all-new Cane Island Parkway interchange at I-10.  Until then, families can reach the community from First Street in Katy.

Developed by Rise Communities, Cane Island is minutes from the Energy Corridor, Katy Mills and Memorial Katy Hospital.  It also is minutes west of the extended Grand Parkway currently open from Sugar Land to U.S. 290.
