MANVEL/IOWA COLONY, TX (November 2, 2015) – Meridiana, the new master-planned community on Texas 288, has named Lindsey Denson as Lifestyle Coordinator where she will initially serve as the community’s point of contact for interested homebuyers, Realtors and corporate relocation managers.
Denson previously served as Director of Marketing & Special Events for the Greater Angleton Chamber of Commerce, a position she held since 2010 where she was involved in marketing, fundraising/event planning and business development.
“Meridiana will be a true ‘game-changer’ for the 288 corridor,” says Denson. “I’m delighted to transition to this new position where I can continue to promote the attributes of the area.”
The new master-planned community is located at Texas 288 and the future Meridiana Parkway (now County Road 56), minutes south of the Texas Medical Center and just north of major employers Dow Chemical, BASF and others.
Once Meridiana establishes its first residents, Denson’s responsibilities will shift to planning resident-only activities including movie nights, wine and cheese events, fun runs, walks and holiday festivals.
Denson joins another familiar name, Jennifer Jones, formerly Director, Parks & Recreation for the City of Lake Jackson, on the Meridiana team. Jones now serves as Vice President of Marketing for Meridiana developer Rise Communities.
Recently, the Meridiana development team unveiled plans for Houston’s first master-planned community with outdoor learning labs, created in collaboration with local educators, amidst an unprecedented community of new homes.
Meridiana ultimately will offer 5,500 new, single-family homes by David Weekley Homes, Highland Homes, Perry Homes, Plantation Homes, Ryland Homes, Shea Homes, Taylor Morrison Homes and Trendmaker Homes.
In addition to Meridiana’s educational elements, residents will enjoy a fitness center with children’s play area, family pool with cabanas, splash pad, poolside café, a shady, hillside amphitheatre for movie nights, catch-and-release fishing, kayaking and miles of hike-and-bike trails. Plus, the community will be home to the all-new Meridiana Elementary School, opening for the 2016-17 academic school year.
A temporary on-site Welcome Center is open Monday – Saturday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon – 6 p.m.
