Cane Island will host its inaugural “Party Under The Arches” on Sunday, September 6 from 7:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. when the Katy master-planned community debuts an amazing synchronized light display of its Living Arches, two impressive tunnels made of blooming vines stretching over Cane Island Parkway. Free and open to the public, the event also will feature the debut of Cane Island’s signature water features spanning the community’s three-acre lake. While at “Party Under The Arches,” families will enjoy free ice cream and summer treats, pictures with Cane Island’s lovable Dog Ambassador Hub and fun DJ music. Parking will be available along Cane Island Parkway. Katy Mayor Fabol Hughes will flip the switch at 8:20 p.m. to activate the synchronized lights and water features at the Cane Island entry. After the event, the Living Arches will illuminate nightly while Cane Island’s water features will operate year-round.
Families can reach Cane Island from First Street in Katy. Directions are available at www.CaneIsland.com. Also, follow the community at www.Facebook.com/CaneIslandKatyTX and on Twitter and Instagram @caneislandkaty.
